Round trip from Barrow in Furness to Coniston
This is the route of a sponsored cycle that several of us have taken part for the last few years and is a nice day out. It starts from the conservative club in Rooscote but I can't imagine they would be too hapy for handcyclists to turn up and steal their valuable parking spaces. There are plenty of parking areas on the coast road where you can park and set out from.
