Telford to Shrewsbury on NCN 81
An easy ride using mainly quiet lanes and cycle paths. This National Cycle Network route starts from Sandwell and goes as far as Aberystwth but I have only tried this section. If you follow the signs you will encounter two problems, first a heavy kising gate that it is impossible to get a handcycle through and the road surface between Wrockardine and Charlton is extremely poor. My adapted route misses these hazards but does involve riding on two short sections of road, which at times can be reasonably busy.
